The deals represented by PromotionCode.org's promotion codes, coupons, and discounts may be changed suddenly by merchants without notice. Always double check to ensure that you have received your discount when purchasing from a merchant's web site.
Unlike most coupon and promotion code sites, PromotionCode.org goes through great lengths to ensure that the codes on our site work. In addition to us spot-checking, visitors vote on the success rate of codes. If a code has not worked for more than three days and hits a certain percentage of failure, it is automatically removed from the site.
History of PromotionCode.org
Founded in 2008 by Mike Catania, a part-time music technology instructor at the Florida State University, PromotionCode.org was initially a forum and coupon rewards website for other struggling teachers and adjunct college faculty (hence the .org domain extension). By 2009, the site evolved away from a forum structure into its current setup with promotion codes organized by store. After that modification, the site quickly gained a reputation outside of the academic community for its real-time posting of online discounts and within two years was maintained by a community of over 400 coupon-clipping volunteers. In 2012, the company had a dozen full-time employees and was originating over ten thousand new coupons per month and receiving upwards of a million pageviews per month. In 2013, merchant services and coupon syndication were added, and so stores could manage their own offers. Currently headquartered in Tallahassee, PromotionCode.org's west coast office is in Las Vegas, Nevada.
